I GUESS WE ARE ALL FLAWED…
I guess we are all flawed because no one is perfect. I never want to control you or cage you I just want you to be you and watch yourself evolve into someone great that you have pictured.
We all need that soft love, as much as we all had our past and experienced some form of trauma that we didn’t ask for but it somehow changed the definition of what love and life are but that doesn’t mean the future wouldn’t be any better. We are the only ones who can decide what we want and what we want our future to be.
I could feel you being scared of the love I gave as much as I felt you being scared I still made sure I increased the soft love wanting you to know that you are not alone. It was not a favor, it was genuine as it should be.
Somehow you felt like I was too good or perfect, but deep down I know I am not because we learn every day. I didn’t love you out of pity but I’m glad you could feel it was so real as much as I was.
My being understanding scared me sometimes as much as it scared you but I could see you thrive to be better, I could see you figuring things out. We are both a mess.
I never wanted to change you because I appreciate you just the way you are but if you ever wanted to change I’ll be glad to be a part of the process because we will be learning together.
Love is genuine but I guess we just happened to be caught up with it at the very wrong time or was it?, sometimes I wish I could change the hands of time and sometimes I don’t but either way if it’s meant to be then I guess it will.
We are flawed because we all want to be better people and not allow our past to thrive over who we want to be in the future. Memories made in the past probably most of them intentionally and maybe mistakes.
The fact is we try so hard to be better and don’t realize how much pressure we put on ourselves which isn’t meant to be but sometimes we don’t have any control over it or at least we are learning gradually.
If only we have a clearer picture of our future it would have been easier to just move and work towards that but hey where’s the fun in that? if everything is known. We live off the unknown to thrive to be better and make the knowns much clearer as we go on with life.
Life is unpredictable we have no choice but to live it and do what is best. No one is perfect just be real and be you even if it doesn’t mean you will always get all you want from life. People change and evolve but you are the only one that can determine what kind of person you want to change or evolve into.
The people who genuinely love and care about you will love you for you and that will feel like home. It is just sad that most times these people don’t get to stay in our lives forever but somehow we learned from them and the memories and sometimes these people find a way back into your life and if they don’t it is still okay. I guess that is why life is unpredictable.
We struggle to work hard and try to make life better because we want so much more. Wanting so much more is good as well as wanting to settle, everyone has what they want their success story to be like. Hey if we put so much pressure on ourselves without a break just what if we break down?
We are all flawed and that is what makes you, YOU!!! Acceptance is one way of change and trusting the process is one way to success.
A random write-up idea in form of quotes kept making its way into my head and I am glad I could write it exactly how the thoughts were in my head. I hope this makes people feel much better about themselves and try to put less pressure on themselves knowing that no one is perfect either in love or in life most especially generally.
